Sanity
Who needs sanity?
The world was never meant to be understood, only experienced.
Wars happen, people die, animals are culled.
It’s all part of the game, the dance of life itself.
Yet you ignore it, because you my friend are blind.
The world was never meant to be “peaceful.”
Only the insane know this, because their keen minds already pierced the veil.
Yet you like everyone else never listen to that man, or woman.
Because you’re afraid you’ll lose something in that message,
Be it your home, family, life, or loved ones.
You’ll never let go because your mind can’t comprehend.
What goes on inside that madman’s head?
People call him suicidal, emotional, and other words;
Maybe you’ll learn like everyone else.
That world inside their heads is more beautiful than that paradise you visited on vacation.
Inside that imagination
Is a tempest of experiences, and encounters.
A place where magic happens, because that person has been through hell, and back.
And needs a place to rest, and to cope.
That mind is the most dangerous.
Because you can’t contain it in the confines of a place,
It will romp into the darkest places of the earth, and take root.
Sanity has no place in this world,
Because the sane truly are blind to the truth, like lambs at the culling.
